Basketball begins with clinic as fall sports finish season

The fall sports season wrapped up in early November and it was a very successful one for Charles Wright.  All but one Upper School varsity squad moved into the post-season.  The boys cross-country team captured second place at the state meet, five tennis players advanced to the quad-district tournament in the spring, and girls soccer and volleyball both competed at the tri-district tournament.  The volleyball team won the tournament’s sportsmanship award, demonstrating how well they represented the school.  Within the next few weeks, all-league honors will be announced and the Tarriers expect to do very well.  Read the rest of this entry »

Clubs Film Fest brings six movies to Charles Wright

Charles Wright’s Upper School students have organized the school’s first Clubs Film Festival on Friday, November 21.  The Gay-Straight Alliance and Diversity Club took the lead role in organizing the event and seven clubs are participating as film sponsors.  The student organizers hope that this multi-club event will appeal to a wide audience of students and parents.  Read the rest of this entry »

Volleyball, soccer and x-country advance in post-season

The countdown is on!  If you like a bargain, then you will love the annual Wright Stuff Rummage Sale.  Quality clothing, books, toys, household items, furniture, sporting goods, antiques and much more will be sold at extremely low prices.

Sunday, November 9 from 10am to 2pm
