Volleyball, soccer and x-country advance in post-season
Charles Wright’s girls soccer are volleyball teams have advanced to districts at King’s High School this weekend – a first in school history for the volleyball team – while the boys and girls cross-country teams are headed to the state meet in Pasco.
Saturday at noon, the volleyball team faces Annie Wright in the first match of the West Central District III tournament. Click here for tournament bracketing. The girls soccer team won their first game of the tri-district tournament over Meridian by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday. Now they face Overlake at 5pm on Friday at King’s High School. The team is guaranteed a Saturday game but the time and openant will be determined by Friday’s game. Click here for the soccer tri-district bracketing. Charles Wright will play at 1pm Saturday if they win Friday and 11am Saturday if they lose on Friday.
